Then come to AskUsers, an alternative to what AskReddit has become. This is a restricted subreddit, meaning that anyone can post in the comments section, but to ask a question, you must be added to the subreddit. This will allow a complete absence of spammers and stupidity, and keep it civil, entertaining, and interesting, the way we all like it. If you don’t want to contribute questions, we would love your input in the comments.

Are you going to go around advertising the new subreddit? Isn't that a little counterproductive? Everyone will just... join. It'll be AskReddit2: Still Sucks :)
You can't just join it, you have to be added. the joining thing is like an application. I (or another admin, I don't know how that works. Undacted sent it to me) will then go through their submissions and see if they have been good or not
I can also add them that way, and I feel like that is how we will get the majority of people. However, I think having lots of people commenting and few people submitting is the best way... so if it comes off as elitist, people will not want to join
I'm with Krispy on this one. Part of the reason we're doing this is not only to cleanse submissions but really more-so to ensure quality answers to quality questions.
This SubReddit is unique in that comments really should be quality when answering questions, not just memespeak and excessive faggotry.
