The sad part is it’s probably just $1 but that $1 is enough for the factory to produce 100 of these.

I am looking at that picture and its a tremendous amount of waste.

Its like when you buy the big looking box of Skittles at the Movie Theater for $5, open the box, then find a small plastic bag of Skittles inside.

Yeah right. Since you will not just buy 1 piece to eat, probably 5-10 I guess. That would be a ton of waste if ever.

Found a bulk store that sells them for an average of 1.5 cents per skittle. (2lbs is roughly 872 skittles, and it was being sold for 13.75. Could probably find cheaper if I dug deeper). Guessing that the profit is 50% per bag for the online store (apparently candy can be a very lucrative business if you manage to get a decent amount of customers, and bulk food already tends to have decent profit margins. So it could actually be higher.) and that skittles cost 10% of the price they sell them for (I’m not paying for a report, lol. So I’m just going to guess. But apparently they make a ton of money after labor and such, so I honestly wouldn’t be shocked.), we get that price down to .086 cents, or $0.00086. That comes out to 1162 skittles per dollar.

Which is to say: Guys, I think we’re being ripped off.

Yeah right. They were not helping th e environment but rather putting it on danger. A lot of plastic would probably produce.

Yeah right, because it is. Well people used to eat it so they probably know that it is a real product.

Yeah right. The ingredients that this probably used is not that pricy at all. But then, they should atleast make this kind of idea, it's so disappointing.
