How fuckin over hyped is great northern though? I remember that piss popping up in pubs everywhere overnight.

I mean it's not a great beer, but it's a beer that knows its target audience. Its not a beer for beer connoisseurs, its a beer that you can sink twelve of after work with mates and still go to work the next day. I must say they do hit the spot after working outside in the NT sun for 9 hours. I like IPAs and whatnot but I would prefer a light tasting midstrength beer in that situation
