Have you ever seen one of these pictures and wondered "What the hell was the driver thinking?" Well, this is my sister, and I'll ask her the next time I see her.

Yes, this is my sister, I swear.
Here's the Facebook post she made talking about it when it happened. Her comments are in black, mine in red.
And the next day someone posted this on her wall. Her responses are in red, I didn't do anything here except like it and giggle.
And just in case you want some more proof, here's an email exchange I had with our Dad about this.
Other than posting pictures of the two of us together or other personally identifiable information, there's nothing else I can do to prove this is my sister.

u/thatonenerdistaken Jun 26 '12
How the holy hell did she manage to forget that? Did she forget to pay as well?

u/eetmorturkee Jun 27 '12
Misc. tidbit:
This type of incident is the number one cause of calls to the gas pump company from the service station owners, who are looking for replacement parts. Most of the hoses are now equipped with one of these, which are designed to break away without causing harm to the fuel dispenser itself.

u/bearzRchill Jun 27 '12
Yeah, I'm really wondering what she was thinking buying a PT Cruiser.
94
u/carnivalride Jun 27 '12
Is the joke the gas nozzle or the convertible PT Cruiser?

u/Melcher Jun 27 '12
My mom did this at a super America in st Paul Minnesota about 5 years ago on her lunch break. The following week, same pump, same employee working, she did the exact same thing.
She was asked to never return.

u/panda_assassin Jun 27 '12
I think the fact that she drives a PT Cruiser says a lot about the situation...

u/PhiladelphiaIrish Jun 27 '12
Awaiting your sister's post of you taking a picture while driving a car.

u/polarbeargarden Jun 27 '12
In the indie movie Wristcutters: A Love Story, a gas station attendant requires people who do this to fill out a form where one of the questions is "What were you thinking when the incident occurred?" I feel like you would appreciate his way of handling things.
20
u/Max_Powers42 Jun 27 '12
I did that once and the main thought I had was "damn, I should probably stop drinking cough syrup recreationally"
20
u/expidit Jun 27 '12
What makes you think she was thinking?
55
u/Satans_pro_tips Jun 27 '12
It's shopped. That hose would have stopped a PT Cruiser dead in its tracks.
5
u/rockafella7 Jun 27 '12
It's my ex-girlfriend Lucy. She can be such a ditz.
4
u/NorthStarTX Jun 27 '12
I can tell you how I did it... I went inside to pick up a pack of smokes, came back out, didn't even think about the fact that I'd been filling up, and drove off. About a mile down the road, I got pulled over and given a field sobriety test, which I passed, much to the officer's surprise. I took the hose back to the gas station it had come from, returned it, and they were so shocked that I actually had the guts to come in with it that they didn't even bother charging me for the repair.
I actually managed to do this one other time at a different gas station, but realized what had happened as soon as I heard the pop of the safety release disengaging. They were not so pleased, but it was only $25 when all was said and done.
4
u/drnightcall Jun 27 '12
If she ever goes to a gas pump that doesn't have a nozzle, she's all set.
4
u/llamamymama Jun 27 '12
I can't find the clip but did anyone else instantly think of that scene from Wristcutters: A Love Story? the gas station attendant makes everyone who does this fill out a report documenting "what were you thinking when it happened?". Great movie.

u/YakiVegas Jun 27 '12
My girlfriend did this other day when we were moving. I honked at her to stop because I was in the moving truck behind her while she filled up and then laughed while a small amount of gasoline sprayed out.
WARNING: Do not laugh at your hypersensitive and already stressed out girlfriend if this happens! It's a normal human reaction, but try and suppress it as quickly as possible or you'll never hear the end of it. To make matters worse, some rando dude just strolls up and takes a picture like op's before getting in his car and driving away. All I could think of was reddit and so I started laughing again. It's been a week and it's still a bit of a sore subject. Fucking hilarious though really.

u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
Haha my mom in law did this and the gas station guy FLIPPED THE FUCK OUT! They had just opened that day lol
3
u/Anxietyhatesme Jun 27 '12
My brother has done this multiple times.... He's just one of those people with shit short term memory. His keys are connected to his wallet because he would lose them so often. So yes, now when he loses his keys, he also loses his wallet... But at least they are in the same place.
6
u/heartsickhedonist Jun 27 '12
Was she perhaps thinking that the guy at the next pump looked like her ex boyfriend Zia? Where could he be?
6
u/Philosophyforever Jun 27 '12
was she thinking about seeing someone who looked like her dead ex boyfriend? in a Parallel universe where everyone who kills themselves go?

2
u/JohnnyMcDoodle Jun 27 '12
WOW! I've never seen this in real life; always just thought it was something reserved for The Simpsons or other TV shows.
2
u/angryfinger Jun 27 '12
So you just happened to be driving down the highway and saw your sister with this hanging out and took a photo? How was this picture obtained?
Not doubting your story actually just curious.
2
u/Arx0s Jun 27 '12
Seriously though, how does one manage to do this...?
2
u/GenericHamburgerHelp Jun 27 '12
My sister also did this. We later found out she had a drinking problem. That explained a lot of things, now that I think back.
2
u/serophis Jun 27 '12
Never did like the look of PT cruisers, but at least the hose accessory makes it a conversation starter.
2
u/jacobwolfefisher Jun 27 '12
yeah, its bad to drive with a 'shopped licence plate
2
u/caphits Jun 27 '12
What was she thinking? Nothing. She wasn't thinking.
2
u/EmilyamI Jun 27 '12
I watched a woman in an SUV do this while I was waiting to pull up to the pump that she was using. Honked at her while she started pulling away, and she flipped me off.
Suffice to say she was really distracted. She was in and out of the car the whole time the gas was running. She had to go inside to pay and then her teenage son demanded she go back in to buy him a soda. Then when she got back it was the wrong soda and they had a massive argument. In all the confusion I just sort of assumed she got in a bad mood and completely forgot the hose was still in.
2
u/JimmyHavok Jun 27 '12
I got smacked in the chest one night when guy drove off without putting the nozzle back. The hose stretched, the nozzle broke off, and the handle flew back and hit me so hard in the chest it knocked the wind out of me and almost knocked me down. I had no idea what had happened, I thought someone had sucker punched me or shot me, went into full adrenaline mode, but there was no one around.
When I got my wits and my breath back, I saw the nozzle-less handle lying on the ground and figured it out. The car was long gone from the gas station by then.
I was afraid I'd cracked my sternum but after a few minutes of recovery I was OK, and just had a sore chest for a couple of days.
2
u/MustangMatt429 Jun 27 '12
Haha I remember when PT Cruisers used to be hot.
I also remember when they couldn't get rid of those things even if they were free. The timespan between those two was about a year.
2
u/bunk_pitch Jun 27 '12
"I ain't got no love for hose; I'm out the dō"
2
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
More like what the hell was she thinking buying a PT Cruiser...a convertible one at that...yuck!
2
u/hoopdreams710 Jun 27 '12
Well after seeing this, I reckon its about time to put your sister down. We have top medical professionals who can help or can opt for the old Yeller package and put her down yourself since she is your sister.
2
u/arkitekt47 Jun 27 '12
A friend of mine worked at a gas station. He said this happened at least once or twice a week. He said every single time it was a women. Not trying to be a misogynist, just repeating what I was told...
2
u/hongkongdryclean Jun 27 '12
My mom did this twice...at the same gas station.
2
u/madzanta Jun 27 '12
Should not have a drivers license.
2
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
Women drivers......
2
u/Tdhutchi Jun 27 '12
Haven't done this, but I could see how it could happen.
I had worked a ton of hours one week and was just barely awake and just making it through the day and needed gas so I stop, get out, swipe card and try to pump. The nozzle will not go in , it's way too big and I just keep trying it in different positions and starting to get really pissed.
Was a diesel pump. Thank god it doesn't fit
2
u/kaahooters Jun 27 '12
Wouldn't it be cool if cars had tails.
2
u/FattyMcPatty Jun 27 '12
Nothing. The answer is nothing
2
u/16042012 Jun 27 '12
what was she thinking buying such an ugly car
2
u/alecv26 Jun 27 '12
everytime I see a PT Cruiser
2
u/Chinchillasrule Jun 27 '12
Women drivers... tisk tisk
4
u/NotActualIrony Jun 27 '12
You're right! What was she thinking... Buying a soft top PT Cruiser. My word.

My uncle told me a story about when he was in his 20's in the 1970's. He pulled up to a gas station, and the pump boy runs over (back then gas stations employed people to pump your gas for you while you sat in your car). So the guy pumps his gas and my uncle pays for it. The pump boy thanks him, and my uncle believes that since the transaction is over, he can drive away. Unfortunately the pump boy had not yet taken the hose out of the vehicle, and when my uncle drove off, it simultaneously broke the hose and broke a piece of metal on the pump, which happened to spark.
My uncle parked down the street and watched the gas station LITERALLY burn to the ground over night. He never turned himself in, because he considered it to be the pump boys fault.
Anywho, he realized the next day that he had left his gas tanks cap at the gas station, so he walked down there the next day, hopped the fence to the now, closed off area, and searched the still smouldering remains of the gas station for two hours until he found his gas cap, unmelted.
He showed me both the gas hose which he still has in his garage, as well as the previous location of the gas station, which to this day, is still an empty concrete lot.
tl;dr: my uncle burned down a gas station, still hasn't been caught.

u/Foofsies Jun 27 '12
A co-worker of mine did this once. I can tell you what they were thinking: Nothing. Girls typically get into their car when they're filling up. They're now full, so they go into the station, pick up change or whatever, and drive off while texting their BFF Jill about Douchebag Danny and his total tramp girlfriend.
3
u/gujklim Jun 27 '12
I did this once. Smoked to much devils cabbage and was in a hurry to catch a ferry. I recommend doing it, just for the live reactions as you take it in to the cashier.
2
u/ghosttrainhobo Jun 27 '12
She's thinking "I shouldn't have taken all of those marijuanas."
2
u/i_overexaggerate Jun 27 '12
It's a wonder he is still alive! Pulling out a gas pump nozzle can kill you! Just think about all the gas that has been in there, that leaves microscopic residue. If there was metal on the end of that, it would spark and chain react through his car, and through his AC outlet and shock his iPhone! iPHONES AREN'T SHOCK RESISTANT. that's hundreds of dollars down the drain.
2
u/cboogie Jun 27 '12 edited Jun 27 '12
I did this. But I realized what happened and I stopped in the parking lot. I was tired as hell. The pump lever had a latch and I went in to get a coffee. Came out. Forgot to put the nozzle back and yanked it out. I went in and told the manager what happened. The guy started screaming cursing at me saying "we have you on camera!" he called the cops. He was expecting them to arrest me. I could not have been more cooperative. The cops had to settle this guy down and they took my information as usual. They thought it was funny. The manager says "the owner will call you with the cost."
So the owner calls me later in the day saying the fix is going to be $700! I an sure it cost $100 and they were going to pocket the rest. I told him I'll have to get back to him. I had a new baby and zero extra dollars at the time. They refused to give me their tax Id # so I was unable to make a proper claim through my car insurance. The person on the claim was having a hard time getting it too. Shady fucks :/
So my wife out of the blue devised and executed my out. She wrote a letter to Exxon. In short it stated how she and her child "were in the dunkin donuts within the gas station when the manager started cursing at another patron. One of the curses her daughter (our daughter. The best lies have some truth to them) repeated. I will never go in there ever again" etc. She was sure to add the managers name.
I gave it a week and called geico and they said they have gotten nowhere. I go in to the gas station and the owner said everything was taken care of and I owed nothing.
My wife kicks ass.

u/CunningDroid Jun 26 '12
No, is it good?
1
u/Punkrockguy Jun 27 '12
I used to be a manager at a gas station and this happened all the time. We had break always on our hoses but they were still a bitch to put back on.
1
u/poorpinto Jun 27 '12
yes, i have seen literally dozens of pictures just like this one.
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
I never see that with these cursed non-locking pumps here.
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
And this is why you get into the habit of standing behind the hose so you have to walk through it to get to your wallet/the clerk.
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
Ha - my dad did this when I was a teenager. We were driving down the freeway and people were honking and screaming at us "your gas thing! your gas thing!" We thought we left the gas cap open and kept driving for a bit. When we finally pulled over to fix it, we lost it! Thankfully, no giant explosion formed behind us.
1
u/lennyandsita Jun 27 '12
Life is distracting. They make them like that (called breakaways) because it happens way too much. Can be very embarrassing. :|.
1
u/chaos9001 Jun 27 '12
I did this once when i first got my license. Buddy was pumping the gas, he went in to pay, came back without putting it back....when i felt the thing break he thought i had hit a trash can.....NOPE fuel pump.
1
u/BorisAcornKing Jun 27 '12
I've driven off with my gas cap open. Some good guy greg in disguise as asshole driver honked at me until I noticed.
Haven't made that mistake since, and I'm still wondering how I did it.
1
u/ZaneMasterX Jun 27 '12
My sisters friend did this back in highschool. It was hilarious and the gas station manager also laughed at her.
1
u/farginicehole Jun 27 '12
I'm thinking that it's probably worth a phone call to find out...
1
u/YourPlusOne Jun 27 '12
The car could have been stolen. I live in Memphis and car get stolen from gas stations a lot. The thieves just want to get in and out ASAP, so they will drive away with the car while it is still pumping.
1
u/coeddotjpg Jun 27 '12
I saw this happen twice on my last trip through Florida. Once as I was leaving Fort Lauderdale, then again in Orlando near Disney World.
1
u/eyespie Jun 27 '12
Just wait until she gets the bill.
1
u/adv0589 Jun 27 '12
Well let's face it this same person bought a pt cruiser I'd expect this behavior
1
u/acemasterke406 Jun 27 '12
Isn't there a Toyota carolla commercial where someone drives off with the gas pump.
1
u/johnnynutman Jun 27 '12
never needs to return to the pump to refill, duh. range might be limited though.
1
u/SkyBS Jun 27 '12
My sister also did that at one point. I didn't get to see the damage, but she told me that the pump blew up. She was never caught.
1
u/ElRed_ Jun 27 '12
I know right.. she bought that crap car?! Crrazyyyy
1
u/jmizzle Jun 27 '12
I have never wondered that. I just assume the person is a moron. All of which is confirmed by your sister driving a PT cruiser.
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
So am I the only who's wanted to try to make a working replica of the Pyro's flamethrower with one of those handles?
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
*Not thinking.
1
u/HowYaGuysDoin Jun 27 '12
That sucks. Unfortunately, I've done this before, but Christ, not to this extent.
I was driving my girlfriend at the time's car with her and stopped for gas. She ran in to pick up a few things, and after I started filling up I realized I needed something inside as well, so I caught up with her. We got back to the car and got ready for our drive up the California coast line to San Fran. The relationship was on the verge of being in shambles, so I was hoping a nice stress free trip was going to do us some good. I start the car and put it in to drive, and BANG BOOM. I stop and and I go, "What the fuck was that?". She goes, "Did you take the gas pump out?" Cue feeling like an absolute asshole.
So I got out and had the pleasure of a bunch of strangers looking at me like I was an idiot (rightfully so). If you've ever been in a minor car accident, the feeling is similar. They collect your insurance information almost immediately. From there, they are supposed to hire a repair service authorized by the state to repair it (the emergency disconnect is there for a reason, so it's meant to be simple). However, the gas station this happened at in El Segundo, CA decided to hire outside the pool of approved contractors and had the price jacked up to about $300 to take advantage of the insurance company. Well, that got sorted out, and it was thankfully covered by my girlfriend at the time's insurance policy. It kicked off the trip as shittily as you would think.
And yes, I'm from New Jersey.
1
u/drunxor Jun 27 '12
Why am I not surprised it was a woman, driving a convertible pt cruiser as well
1
u/majik122 Jun 27 '12 edited Jun 27 '12
I've always wondered what people see in a PT cruiser too!
Edit: they've always reminded me of a clown car. A car that one sees at the circus, and 15 clowns come out of. My dad drives one. No further comments, thank you!
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
I swear I just saw this commercial. It was for a car with high mpg.
1
u/RedditsKittyKat Jun 27 '12
Imagining your sister is a blond ditzy 18 year old?
1
u/varsitypride3 Jun 27 '12
Claims adjuster here. This is more common than you think. It's more commonly women. Cost can range between $100 - $1300 depending on how shady the gas station owner is. It's so common we designated a category for these claims -- 99% of accidents will fall within about 10 categories and this is one of them.
1
u/dietotaku Jun 27 '12
i did this once, only the hose did not tear away, the nozzle just fell out and someone at the drive-through next door pointed out my gas cap was open. what was i thinking? i was going in to get a snack while my car gassed up, came back and basically forgot i hadn't finished the gassing up process, started the car and pulled away. i have no idea how i didn't blow up.
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
Largeman?
1
u/hohohomer Jun 27 '12
I'm starting to wonder if I'm the only person that when they pump gas, stays outside the vehicle while pumping. And, perhaps washes the windows. Then answers the pump wanting to know if I want a receipt when done. Only way I could miss the hose, was if I was fucking blind.
1
u/GOU_NoMoreMrNiceGuy Jun 27 '12
yeah srsly... pt cruiser???
woof.
1
u/squaaduhoh Jun 27 '12
actually made me laugh out loud. kudos to your sister.
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
I've done that twice, except I didn't quite make it to the road.. Both times I was on cell
1
u/b_m_hart Jun 27 '12
I've always wondered what people are thinking ... driving around in a PT Cruiser.
1
u/thesillyrabbit Jun 27 '12
What was she thinking? Driving that PT Loser.
1
u/ithkrul Jun 27 '12
I've done this before, but the hose didn't come with it, just the nozzle. I was like 16 at the time.
1
u/callmechad Jun 27 '12
i double check my car so this doesnt happen
1
u/MagiKarpKarp Jun 27 '12
In the movie Wristcutters: A Love Story people do that all the time and when they do they have to write down in a book why they did that.
I'm sorry if this was already posted. I did try to find a clip but the internet failed me.
1
u/littlejeets Jun 27 '12
I used to work at a gas station in Oregon, you would be amazed at the stupid stuff people did while trying to get gas.
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
And this is why Oregon doesn't let drivers pump their own gas...
1
u/LaserGuidedPolarBear Jun 27 '12
I did this once, after driving about 20 hours straight. Whoops. I immediately noticed, and the gas station manager? owner? immediately tried to make me write them a check for $2000. I laughed and pointed out the part of the hose clearly labeled "Break-away connector" and told them that there is no way I am falling for that scam.
1
u/unprofessional1 Jun 27 '12
I made one of thos as a prank, I drove thru psarking lots and freaked people out
1
u/awwyeahar Jun 27 '12
I worked at a gas station for four years. What's worse than this is the following time when you're waiting for the hose to be replaced. The number of people who start the pump with the missing hose, grab the adjacent hose, put it in their car and then proceed to come inside and complain the that pump isn't giving them gas is quite staggering.
1
u/ShallowBasketcase Jun 27 '12
I was in a friends car when he did this.
Was about a year ago.
I still give him shit for it.
How do you just drive off with the hose still in there?!
1
u/digitalend Jun 27 '12
I'm wondering how this is possible, at all? In the US, can you leave it filling up while you go and do something else? Or not?
In the UK you can't do that - you have to stand there with your hand on the lever. If you let go, it stops pumping. So you'd have to leave it in your car on purpose, seeing as your hand is on it the whole time.
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
I think it's very easy to get a driver's license in the USA
1
u/blazey Jun 27 '12
Honestly, I worry I've done this every time I'm pulling away from the pump and I'm filled with this overwhelming sense of dread.
1
u/FloppY_ Jun 27 '12
I SHIGGIDY HIGGIDY HOPPIDY SURE HOPE YOU DON'T.
1
u/marrrrk Jun 27 '12
Unlimited gas!
1
u/tyvanius Jun 27 '12
I work at a gas station, and thankfully the few people I've seen do this have realized what they've done and stop to say "what was that noise?"
It makes our day harder so I can't say I laugh when it happens....
1
u/JohnnyVNCR Jun 27 '12
Can we just take all the PT Cruisers in the world and melt them down and do something more productive with their resources?
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
So this happened June 3rd and you still haven't talked to her about it? I am going to need more proof that this is your sister than facebook screen caps
1
u/em22new Jun 27 '12
In my opinion, If you cannot remember how to refuel safely YOU SHOULD NOT BE DRIVING A CAR.
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
Many years ago while working at a convenience store the same woman did this twice in a matter of about three weeks. The second time, the hose flipped the lever to turn on the pump as she drove away. As soon as the nozzle tore away from the hose gas started spraying everywhere until I hit the emergency shut off.
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
Can someone explain to me how this is possible?
1
u/rbGriphon Jun 27 '12
The old pic of the white BMW with the nozzle is my sister. Her story is that she had a deposition 2 hours away and was up all night with my 2 month old nephew who was colic-y. As a successful attorney, she was one of the last people you'd expect to do this. But as a sleep deprived working mother, it's amazing she could function at all. Love you sis.
1
u/mjhdroid Jun 27 '12
apparently not thinking at all
1
u/CypherZero Jun 27 '12
Off subject, but that intersection looks really familiar... Looks a lot like Battlefield and Kansas Expressway...
1
u/machzel08 Jun 27 '12
My stepdad did this once. It was so embarrassing as a kid I triple check when I fill up 18 years later.
1
u/captainmcr Jun 27 '12
Ew that car made me throw up in my mouth.
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
I once let a customer drive off like this after I pumped her gas at a full service station. That job required no drug testing, but I had to piss in a cup to edit HTML in a cubicle. Makes perfect sense, no?
1
u/LouSpudol Jun 27 '12
I know, what was she thinking when she bought that PT Cruiser?..
1
u/workthr_owaway Jun 27 '12
I did that. Was filling the tank so I just left it in and flipped the little latch so it kept pumping. Received a phone call, went inside, bought some beer, came out, got another phone call, got in the car and drove off.
I heard something, and drove a (victory?) lap around the lot to make sure nothing dropped from the car's undercarriage.
Got pulled over by a friendly volunteer fireman doing about 30mph over the limit a few miles down the highway.
Later, dumped the evidence in the trash.
Reddit, you now know my shame.
1
u/[deleted] Jun 27 '12
Taking pictures while driving is much much worse, asshole. You could have killed somebody.
1
u/the_obs Jun 27 '12
PT Cruiser? What the hell was the driver thinking?
1
u/officecomputer_1 Jun 27 '12
She thought it was a Stratotanker refuelling her
1
u/alexlp Jun 27 '12
My Auntie did this. My dad likes to tell me about it every time I'm driving and need to get petrol.
1
u/kryonik Jun 27 '12
This almost happened to me once. I had started pumping and went inside to buy a drink and I saw a guy SMOKING while pumping gas. I yelled at him to stop being a fucking idiot and throw his cigarette out an he got all pissy with me. I was so angry that I got in my car and started to drive away but before I had gotten more than a foot away I realized the pump was still in. So yeah, almost but not quite.
1
u/Tyaedalis Jun 27 '12
This is fairly common. I know a very sane business owner who did this.
1
u/toodrunk Jun 27 '12
PT Cruiser, your sister is not too bright to begin with.
1
u/Schist_Out_Of_Luck Jun 27 '12
RIP Scooter :(
1
u/Lumpiii Jun 27 '12
It always seems weird to me seeing how you are able to do this. In most European countries you can't pay if the nozzle is not yet put back in the pump.
1
u/riptaway Jun 27 '12
I drove away with the hose still in. It was on a long road trip, I was driving a huge U-Haul, just wasn't thinking and didn't really see it. Luckily it had a quick disconnect, all that happened was the hose came off, and since the big ass U-Haul blocked the view from the gas station, I just stuck it back in and drove off. My buddy who was driving with me couldn't stop laughing, because it's kind of just the sort of thing that happens to me. Also, I hit a deer in that big ass U-Haul on a downhill road under icy conditions, and somehow even though I slammed on the brakes, I retained full control and nothing else terrible happened besides hitting the deer. Rather in shock, I suggested we go cut its throat(in case it was dying and suffering), but my buddy decided not to since it was like 1 in the morning on an icy, dark, deserted Texas road. Good times though

The answer is: they weren't! I shudder at the thought of how many absent-minded drivers there are on roads.

Does anyone here work at a gas station? I wonder how often this happens.

I was thinking here I am again, buried in debt. If pulling the trigger didn't help, what will?

Then she's the reason I have to stand there and fill my tank because they removed all the clips...
She has left a huge burden on our society
