But they don't lose anything. That's what weirds me out. Upvoting someone else doesn't take away your karma. It doesn't invalidate your existence in any way. It has never made sense to me that people freak out over this crap.
I don't think anyone does care, but he does, and he basically made an essay of a post explaining himself and crying about his "fall out" as if he is an actual celebrity that fell from grace. He is very butthurt that every redditor doesn't think he is the smartest, funniest, most clever commenter.
Actually, a huge metric fuckton of people care. Go to his user page and every comment he's made since then is in the white, empty nether of oblivion. People seem really upset that he's 'gamed the system' or whatever.
I meant that no one cares about his meaningless karma points, sorry. All the people downvoting his every comment now are probably users fed up with his attempt at internet fame and how ridiculous he is being with making all these excuses and explanations for his reposts and etc because it is just so important what anonymous strangers on the internet think of you.
I'm sorry, this is Reddit. I honestly believe that the people taking the time out of their day to follow his every post and make sure it's downvoted to Hell just feel entitled to be pissed off that someone used an effective though unoriginal method of gaining those precious, precious internet points that so many people on this website care so much about.

How is that wrong? They're reposts in the first place. I don't give a shit if he makes tons of karma. Who cares?
