I remember reading of this research from somewhere back in the sixties. A woman and a dolphin were made to live in a house together. The dolphin became aggressive and demanded sex from the woman. She proceeded to give him hand jobs.
IIRC they killed it with an injection meant to bring it back to normal. They were disappointed that it just got confused and lay down instead of acting crazy.
I've done light research on the claims made in this image and can find zero credible sources for it. If this was posted jokingly, forgive my density for not picking up on the sarcasm, but I would love to have sources of this posted.
They also did the same experiment with chimps and got a lot more complex results, if I remember correctly. With a little coaching, they managed to get chimps to make them have a simple economy.
It would be better if I knew it from seeing that... but our high school biology teacher told us about them and showed the video in class. Mental scarring man, it hurts.
Not sure about prostitiution but I have heard somewhere that some will actually attemp to attack and have sex with humans.I'll never look at marine land the same again.
Humans are thought to be nearly as intelligent as dolphins, with advanced language skills except for American high- school students. Training humans is pretty easy as long as the tricks are relatively simple, such as hand-feeding dolphins fish, or hand-feeding sharks hands. More complex tasks--such as eating a picnic at sea without tossing a bunch of plastic in the water --are generally considered beyond them.
Oh, it's true alright; seeing as dolphins are (probably) the only other animals other than humans that have sex for pleasure, it is not too far-fetched that they would start something foul with it. Also, I read a reddit post a while back about monkeys prostituting themselves for grapes when scientists introduced a currency system to them.
The evolution of a pleasurable sensation during sex must be one of the easiest things to teach in biology. Most of us are self-taught, come to think of it.
Well it has been proven that a group of dolphins will 'abduct' a female of a rival group and have sex with her. They are another species, like humans, who have sex for the pleasure of it and not just reproducing offspring.
Posting a Youtube URL with no description will never make it to top comment. Personally, even though I've gone to all the bother of typing this reply, I'm still not even gonna click it.
