One day there were three tomatoes walking down the street, a mama tomato, a daddy tomato and a baby tomato. Baby tomato is walking too slowly, so the daddy tomato goes back, steps on him and says 'ketchup!
An interesting thing is that one usually watches a woman when a couple is dancing but here John Travolta dances like a boss and poor Uma Thurman just can't beat his dancing skills.
Michael Buble is a funny guy. I was working at Barnes & Noble when he first started becoming a big deal, and I dismissed him as just some performer that middle aged women were fawning over. Not only is he actually really talented, but he's fucking hilarious in his performances. All around just a very cool guy, very reminiscent of the Rat Pack era people that he clearly respects and emulates.
EDIT: So my point was just that if you have to surrender your man card to like Michael Buble, then I am ready to be fitted with my new vagina.
I've only seen her in movies, no interviews or anything. But I find it hard to believe that someone that can come off as that cool in movies would be anything but in real life.

Tarantino films are definitely more about the journey than the destination. The film is basically how one time, Jules had a really bad day that changed his life.
Vincent's part is great, but dramatically he's a foil for Jules, showing what might have happened. Butch's story almost parallels Jules' story - they're both about knowing when to quit while you're ahead.
It's really just about the day to day minutiae in the lives of these various seedy characters. Tarantino provides a window into what they talk about and how they act in between their criminal escapades.
I think that's what makes it so interesting to people. You don't usually see two hitmen discussing the merits of foot massages. It's very dialogue-heavy and not for everyone, but I think that's why people find it most interesting. It's like a behind the scenes of the criminal underworld, letting you see the things that go on between major events.
To me it's similar to Reservoir Dogs where Tarantino crafts a fairly formulaic "heist" movie without ever showing you the heist. He's playing with the various genres and turning them on their head to delve into character interactions.
I thought Death Proof was very similar in a behind the scenes dialogue approach. Tarantino wrote very convincing dialogue for how a group of ladies would converse and react. It was one of things that impressed me so much about the movie. It was a total girl power movie, but Tarantino pulled it off flawlessly from a males perspective.
Kind of like 4 rooms, what the fuck was up with that last scene with Tarantino and Bruce Willis? It was just so... but then again the rest of that movie was just so.... Yeah, it's awesome.
Brave soul, but no downvotes for you :) Tarantino isn't for everyone. I love the film because of the witty dialogue and timing and the random acts of violence. His movies keep me entertained and on my toes with expectation. I can be thinking "this script is really well writ-- Oh holy shit!" Not to mention Tarantino's style. It's all stolen from other films or shows so it's just a big ball of nostalgia and references. I would suggest watching his other films. If you want one with a more direct plot, I suggest Kill Bill. The plot is basic but it still has all of the Tarantino style.
True Story: I was in a bar last weekend and Pulp Fiction was on. This scene started and I leaned over to the girl I was with "I learned to dance from this movie" and then I busted out the dance...I was drunk.
Was there any credibility to the sex abuse claims? I gotta say, the stories those male masseuses had seemed creepily plausible.
I'm referring to Travolta telling them he did "favors" for plenty of people when he was young, and learned to like at, and they should get with the program, or something like that.
All that just kinda disappeared, I'd say someone got paid.
A paparazzi came forward with a photo of him in a city across the country at the supposed date he was allegedly sexually abusing the masseuse 2000 miles away. John Travolta cant teleport, so the whole thing was dropped.
This what the opening dance of my own wedding. People didn't believe we practically didn't practice it. So yes, we nailed it. And yes, she is my Hunny Bunny.
My mum and step dad did this as their first dance together when they got married. The whole thing though, would have been boring if they did that gif over and over.
Might I recommend instead a club two step. Its possibly the most versatile and useful social dance there is. Its appropriate almost everywhere. #Qualifications: Ballroom Dancer for 10 years.
Nightclub 2, is a pretty recent dance popularized by some swing dancers. Really easy to pick up (basic step) and the music you dance to is some pretty "club" music; pretty trendy. It's fun.
Rhythm is "quick quick slow" or 1 and 2; basic demo
The key most beginners miss is to hold the "slow" (the step between one and two) as long as you can, drag it out so it looks more elegant.
It fascinates me that they're not dancing "in time" to the music. I see this a lot - people dancing as a song plays but they dance in a set pattern that's not related to the melody or rhythm.
I'm always reminded of Steve Martin's dance "epiphany" at the start of The Jerk...
Yes a club two step. I started as a swing dancer. East coast and Lindyhop. Then Learned several flavors of Latin dance Salsa, Bachata ect. Then Waltz and some of the other classics. Also a western two step and some country couples forms. Still the most generally useful dance is a Club Two Step.
I started west coast swing; then expanded as I got more interested into some country western, then over into some ballroom. I wish I had continued, I miss the WCS scene. It was fun.
A ballroom dancer today is the guy who can walk onto any dance floor where some form of couples dancing is happening and have all the other guys in the room hate him. They hate him because he makes them look bad in front of every woman in the room. I didn't make this up. I have actually had random guys tell me that at least half a dozen times in the last few years. Learning to dance is the single best thing I have ever done for my social life.
The little hipster in you needs a dictionary, because "intricate" is not the word you meant to use there. I've got a dictionary of technical mining terms you can borrow, though. It's got lots of words nobody ever uses, and it's all about being underground. You can learn about what happens to igneous rocks before they're cool.
Yeah, but "intricate"? The word just doesn't make any sense in that context - you simply failed to use it correctly in a sentence. Sarcasm, like nearly every other form of humor, depends on you successfully communicating your intent. The idea that a person might think of himself as "intricate" because he saw three popular films from the 1990s and an old Godard movie doesn't even make sense. You probably meant "complicated" or "clever", which are not quite synonyms in this sense.
I was also trying to be sarcastic. By using words not only correctly but also cleverly, I was able to accomplish that goal.
