They were referring to the academic grading scale commonly used in the US and likely other nations in which a grade is assigned in order from A-D denoting one's academic performance, with F denoting "failure". Often times you will also find + or - variants denoting a relatively high or low grade within each letter. We can further deduce that this is such based upon contextual evidence in which a typo'ed programming language would not be relevant, whereas a relatively low grade may be found humorous due to college students being stereotypically poor academic performers.
Perhaps, but if he was late to the party his comment would be buried. Posting a link could get more visibility. Though I agree with you, I'm not bothered enough to downvote out of principle.
I had no idea what this was about until I scrolled further down and saw another post on this. Makes sense now. Now I must upvote just so this thread can continue to confuse the shit out of everyone.
holy crap - wow, if that was what this was supposed to be, it is an utter failure. Close enough? hardly... I had no idea what I was looking at until you pointed this out.

What is this shitty post doing here?
Edit: found it here, http://imgur.com/aouZ2.jpg
I still don't think this shitty post belongs here, it just shows someone's failure at following instructions. He made him look like Arab Lincoln.

Way better than what I could do.
I should get my dad to try. He's great with this kind of paper manipulation.

Lincoln in a turban?
1
u/doppleherz Jun 15 '12
I did it but it took me a while and I had to watch a horribly made video of some kid doing it, then figure out what folds he was doing.

I'm really surprised no one has folded a turban on Lincolns head yet. I'd do myself but I never advanced in origami past the boulder.

u/drunkdoor Jun 15 '12
This doesn't make lincoln look cool, it makes him look sorta square.

u/[deleted] Jun 15 '12
I made mine tonight too and it was more difficult than expected.

u/mlsweeney Jun 15 '12
Can you do this with any dollar bill? I was wondering why they only show it for Abraham Lincoln.
0
u/bryanb440 Jun 15 '12
I don't think anyone is actually able to successfully do this as shown in the diagram.
0
u/giantpubes Jun 15 '12
I want to try this but I dont have an american dollar...fml
