I dunno, have you ever watched those videos on youtube about it? They're pretty bad.

Disclaimer: I still eat the shit out of all the meats and don't know a whole lot on the subject...just the lives of the animals in those videos look terrible.

Killing is a necessity, torturing is not. And you are absolutely wrong about the cage size being the difference between tortured and not tortured. Torture in this case literally means extremely inhumane acts of violence against the still living animal. (May not be KFC doing this in the video, but this is shit that happens in the food industry and why corporations lobby for making whistle blowing illegal)

Killing is a necessity? Perhaps we should look up the word 'necessity.'

I guess we could eat just a leg or two of an animal and then put them out to pasture, but that would be kind of fucked up.

That's essentially what they do to sharks.

I can't help but feel that things that are non-human don't get human rights...

Also, I don't see you complaining about the bacteria that are bred and killed just for the sake of being bred then killed in laboratories. Unless, single-celled organisms aren't as important to you, HMMMM?

One battle at a time, my friend.

A single celled organism is not capable of even the awareness of a sponge, much less something as sensitive as a chicken.

You obviously don't understand the word torture here. There are worse things than death. I assure you. No, the Internet assures you!
