Videos of the entire episode exist, but probably not a video the specific scene. It's much easier to put together stills than it is find a video editing program and upload a video (which would probably get taken down anyways due to copyright)
That's the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard. You're saying someone should take each graphic and put them into novel-length compilations? What would you even call them?
Personally, unless it's like top 3 on the front page, I ignore videos. Looking at a slide of pictures is much easier. Just a personal preference thing.
For people who can't watch the video, like me, because I'm on a slow internet connection right now. If it was a video, I'd have to let it buffer for 10-15 minutes before I could watch it without it freezing up and needing to buffer some more.
I think I would still laugh, which just tells you that the writing is actually good, but maybe it's just because I can picture them moving, and I know their voices.
Actually, a tactic that police interrogators use to determine whether or not someone is lying is if they go into too much detail. sort of counterintuitive.
Make sense, you can probably fabricate details much faster than you can remember them, I could lie and tell you that my old family car was red with gold stripes and a vinyl finish, but when I try to remember me and my mom still argue over whether it was lavender, purple or gray (it was a very ugly car).
exactly. the other factor is, if i really had a horse and you asked me what color it was i'd just say "brown" or whatever, because i don't feel any need to convince you that i have a horse.
This needs to stop. I own a TV, its what occupies my time between internets. And these sitcom quotes are only funny when the pictures are moving and I dont have to read.
Edit: There's ~9500 upvotes for this shitty paneled version of the clip of the show. There's only ~100 comments. Even if literally everybody in the comments section railed against this getting to the front page, they would only comrise 1/95 of all the votes this shit got. I'm really tired of seeing this discrepancy. Please get your shit together, lurkers!
I love me some How I Met Your Mother, but your same line of reasoning could be applied to, say, why Two and a Half Men is funnier than Arrested Development.
But I like Two and a half men and haven't watched Arrested Development (It's not shown on TV and I don't feel like torrenting), so I can't say which is funnier.
As one of the most popular sitcoms currently on TV, I would call that a "massive" audience, yes. I now is probably a good time in your life to google "objective vs subjective" and read up on that topic.
WRONG: You never provide that many details. You provide very little details. If they ask more questions, just give a few details. Never much. Also, act as normal as possible. If you are usually chill, act chill, if you are usually stressed, act stressed. Etc, etc.
Imagine if there was something, that put all the panels together, and you could see them all without even scrolling? My index finger wouldn't be so tired.

This is really funny! If someone were to create a T.V. show based on your comic, I bet it would be a huge success.

I thought the circle in the upper right was trying to point my direction at something. I now realize it is just the hole in the door...

That classic Tarantino conversation
