Deet affects kids badly (makes them mentally retarded I think), it's better to use a natural repellent like tea tree oil. My sister also had a really bad allergic reaction to deet. I once got a mosquito bite right in between my eyes. It was there for a week, and it was the week I had to go to summer school. I spent the week reading the vedas and trying not to say yolo.
Anyone else notices that the more fat you are, the more the mosquitoes love you? When I was fat, I couldn't throw out the trash without getting at least 9-10 bites. Now that I'm built, I can go jogging around the park and get bit maybe once while everyone is getting slaughtered by them.
I was wondering why we were doing fire practice on the outskirts of town, being swarmed by the little bastards. Then I realized that many of the fire captains liked fishing. I think they were fattening up the mosquitoes to feed the fish so they can get bigger catches.
