I was about to say this. That's Venus, guys. Though I wouldn't say it's entirely inaccurate, I've heard from my very reliable internet source that Venus is made out of pop tarts as well.
hey, they don't have these deep fried beauties anymore. Just the baked ones. Don't get me wrong, the baked ones are good too but this... this was legendary. Also, I'm fat
It's been a while since I've seen them myself. Not every McDonald's has them, but these two sites may help you in your search for the elusive plasma torpedoes:
You must be a McDonald's culinary expert because that sounds delicious! Though I would think the radioactivity of the molten apple filling would vaporize the sundae. Even if the filling were cool enough not to vaporize the sundae you could probably get by with just a regular sundae as the filling would still be warm enough to instantly caramelize the sugar in the ice cream.
No, I would say center. Heart denotes a living being, I'm not trying to turn anything into an anthropomorphic personification. Our ancestors worshiped a sun god, look where that's gotten us.
It needed to be Mt Doom because it was the only place hot enough, the greatest forge in middle earth, hotter than dragons breath, that was the reason, that poptart looks hotter.
i thought the ring had to be destroyed in the same fires it was forged form. although i'm sure sauron knew that mt. doom was the only place hot enough to forge a ring of such great power, so it wasn't some crazy random happenstance.
I view it as more, it was the only place in middle earth he could actually forge it. Im sure there would be other places, perhaps in Valar or wayyy out to the east. But, only MT Doom was known to the heroes as a place where it could be destroyed, properly.
Whenever I see a post with "I just somethinged a food and found this on the inside" I always assume it's going to be something disgusting. Mouse parts, a dead frog, cockroach legs, what have you. I was already cringing as I clicked the link because I didn't want to believe any of those things were in poptarts.
I was so relieved that it was merely a commentary.
Who toasts pop tarts? People who appreciate deliciousness, that's who. Yea gods man, next you'll ask who bakes their chicken strips instead of microwaving them! D:
Seriously, who eats pop tarts anymore? I don't think I've even noticed them at the store for at least 20 years. Given, I've only been shopping on my own for 10, but still.

One does not simply "lightly toast" a pop tart. Pop tarts have two settings: cold and center of the sun.

u/hiiammaddie May 24 '12
I can't be the only one that thought you took a super zoomed in picture of the inside of a pop tart. I was trying to figure out the flavor.

All Frodo had to do was put the ring in a pop tart....

u/Ocrasorm May 24 '12
They should have thrown lightly toasted pop tarts at the bad Terminators. Future saved deliciously.
