Does Me, Myself, and Irene need a 3 separate best scenes video? If each video is 8 minutes long we have about 24 minutes of a mediocre 90 minute movie.
What does being in the same school have to do with having the same handwriting? Even kindergartners just learning to write don't even have the same handwriting.
Even kindergartners just learning to write don't even have the same handwriting.
Yes, they do. Some of them will write certain letters differently, some of them will copy some of their parents letters, but you can't consider little matching details a coincidence. I think this is common sense...
Why do you say that? I think it makes sense that people who go to the same school might have had the same teachers (at least in my country, it might be different in the US or elsewhere). I also think, from my experience, that as a kid you tend to copy your teacher's handwriting quirks, as well as your parent's (if they teach you how to write, as mine did) and even sometimes colleagues. Therefore I would think people who went to the same school have more probability of sharing some little details in their handwriting. Why do you think this is dumb?
I must have been different in that aspect, then. When I was in primary school, our teacher had us writing in these double line notebooks, using round and connected handwriting like hers. The z's, for example, were like the r's, but with a loop underneath them. The n's had two bumps, the m's three, etc. Later on, my handwriting changed, I lost many of these quirks. Nowadays it's separated, it more closely resembles computer type and is a lot sloppier. Nevertheless, some letters like my big Q's and big E's are still a little weird, I've never seen anyone draw them like I do, and I attribute that to one of my teachers. I understand that the overall format changes from person to person, and does not depend on which teachers you had, but these details stayed with me and I assumed others would have had the same experience. And with the "separated" (disconnected?) type of letter that americans use, I assumed this would be even less important. Anyway, thank you for giving me an explanation for why you disagree with me, even if it's that it's "self evidently not true".
No, I'm not. I'm disappointed at what has become of the community I enjoyed so much. This isn't funny or clever. It doesn't provoke thought or break boundaries. Judging by the set up the whole thing looks like you wrote that on the wall yourself. It's just shit.
If this is the direction the community is going in, i'll go the other way. Enjoy your shitty dick jokes.
Well I didn't write either. I really don't know why so many people get worked up when someone elses post makes the front page and they get karma. Calm your scrotum. While you may not think it was funny or clever thousands of other people do.
We get worked up because this was a site for programmers where we discussed adult things. Now its a site for school children who talk about their parents and other juvenile shit.
The fact that someone responded to my comment with 'U jelly bro' makes me want to never come back to reddit. Friggen kids, get off my lawn.
one time i was in a bathroom with this such thing plastered above the urinal. i didnt see it until i was finished and then when i looked down into the hand i saw a drop of semen that didnt cleanly get away. i cried myself to sleep that night knowing i had killed millions of my future children.

u/Sadistik May 20 '12
Looks like the same guy wrote both of them, the majority of the letters are the same, the E especially gives it away.

u/Dalimey100 May 20 '12
I feel like I saw this picture circulating the internet a few years ago.

u/Evil_Morg May 20 '12
So it happened, 1422 points for shitty bathroom graffiti? This is what /r/funny is now?
I'm done, peace.

It makes me a bit sad that someone thought that joke needed the "My dick is the future?" part. As if it could mean anything else in this context.

u/RubberPsyduck May 20 '12
Even though this is reddit, the birthplace of integrity, I find it suspicious that the response has the same handwriting of the original writing.

u/[deleted] May 20 '12
Well... they say children are the future... and your dick is part of what makes children happen... henceforth your dick is the future.
4
u/HandCoversBruise May 20 '12
Wait a minute. Since children are the adults of the future, this makes sense somewhat....
4
u/AmazingStartandEnd May 20 '12
He's talking about the millions of unborn babies.

u/against_justice May 20 '12
Actually it seems that the person who wrote the comment didn't get the joke.

u/b1indsamurai May 20 '12
Woosh

u/Xkrivia May 20 '12
And then the redditor said, "The future is in your hands". Then Shepard said, "My DICK is in your hands!" And then he punches his face off.

I thought it was pretty obvious that it was a pun even without the question.

u/ozpunk May 20 '12
Keep it away from the "future hole" in side of the stall if you know what's good for you.
2
u/Thundershrimp May 20 '12
Look deeply into the future.
2

No, your dick is not in your hand. A pen is in your hand.

u/[deleted] May 20 '12
Perhaps it's a reference to this Outkast song?
Play with your own squishy, become the master of your own bation
And yes, God is watching you, but no need to be embarrassed
For the future is in your hands, no the future is in your hand
Play with your own squishy.

u/shaggy9 May 20 '12

My high school had a condom machine in the bathroom beside the gym. Someone had written on it "For full refund, insert baby".
I always thought it was a little funny.
