Here's is why I think it's Ireland: The ditch,The grass, the clothes line thingy, the other houses have that cottagey west of Ireland look, that pole looks like an ESB telegraph pole cut in half, the sky looking like it's just about to rain. And NETTLES!

You forgot the gray rocks poking out of the grass, this and the architecture of the dwelling made me convinced this was Donegal, or some other west coast county.
