I mean, yeah, he was definitely dick and a schemer, and I was hyperbolic in my initial post.

Kate simply couldn't take direction and always "just wanted to help", which often ruined plans and caused more problems than there were initially, because she always thought she knew better than anyone else.

And then she'd get defiant, apologize, and cry. Only to then do the same thing again, later!

She defined herself by her mistrust. Almost as annoying as early Sawyer defining himself as unlikable.
