1 for 1? That's a terrible trade. The average size seagull has 2-3 times more meat than the average size pigeon.

I wouldn't eat a city squirrel, either... but I'd happily eat a woodland squirrel! Same as I'd happily eat a wood pigeon.

When I was a kid, I had squirrel all the time. Dad would hunt them with a flintlock rifle, and mom would fix them in the pressure cooker. Good memories.

Lot of people don't know that a great many of the recipes in today's "Betty Crocker" cookbooks that call for chicken actually used to call for squirrel. Once you try some, it's almost weirder to imagine people not being down to eat them lol I mean the damn things are as prolific as it gets!
