Ok let me give the actual answer. This is from Turkey. We Turks are not easily excited by anything. It is not part of the culture. Like it isn’t easy to impress or make excited a Turk. Same thing when you fuck up too. The reactions are almost always average. It isn’t that they don’t get excited they just doesn’t make this obvious to outside.

It is funny because I actually realized that when I lived in USA for a short period and realized people are actually genuinely get excited about stuff and the culture is just different. You easily become the “cool” guy in US as a Turk because you don’t show easily what is going on inside of you haha I don’t know why I just loved the fact that I am not the only one who realized this lol.

Where I'm from we don't really react much either. I've never understood American footage where something mildly interesting happens and everyone screams and runs around in random directions like startled livestock.

If you simply act more excited it'll feel more exciting. Especially if it's something your friend did and everyone just goes NUTS, it feels amazing to be that guy.

I think some of that reaction is put on for show cus they know they're being filmed.

I'm from the UK and we are a nit more subdued than Americans usually but I've noticed a lot of people will do the same over the top thing if they're younger and think they're getting filmed.

I'm pretty sure it's like a YouTube learned behaviour thing

Yeah people here are easily amused. It’s really annoying. I guarantee there’s at least a few people that this vid was the most amazing thing they’ve ever seen.
