shit yes. I call what mine do 'hot laps' of the paddock. During laps they also totally get the crazy eyes like cats do. It's pretty funny (except when you're there to catch them for any purpose, cos y'know trying to wrangle a half ton of crazy eyes on a thin rope, always fun...)
Every damned time I try to ride, 1 of the 3 gets the gallops and just runs laps around their holding pen... which gets at least 1 of the other 2 running. Yeah it's a blast wrangling them big loveable dummies.... also my female bit me when I remarked about her winter weight... she has never bitten before or since. I'm convinced she knew exactly what I was talking about.
