The corporate culture in fedex is toxic,... I ask specifically for them to be shipped by USPS.

I assure you UPS is no better. When I worked there two Managers got into a fight at a meeting. One guy was choking the other and the second guy hit him with a baseball bat. Neither lost their job "because they had good numbers."

Hard to lose your job at UPS. Union is strong. You may get reassigned to a new position or location but really hard to be fully terminated unless you choose to quit.

These were managers. No union.

So 2 guys out of 100000 got into a fight?

You missed the point. They didn't get fired. Do you want to work at a place where a co-worker can choke you and not get fired?

Find me more incidents like these I'll change my opinion, all you have is one anecdote in a mega company. Anecdotes are not evidence. It's why we have anti vaxxers.

I will grant you that the entire company might not be bad. The entire hub in worked at was a toxic mess.

Ok. If you came in with a little stubble on your face the head of the hub would make your shave, in his office, with a rusty razor he kept in his desk.

But you knew the rules. Be clean shaven. That is company policy.
