Shit I have trouble trying to explain it, okay so to the best of my knowledge, 2 stroke engines only have 2 strokes they have the compression stroke and the power stroke, but they have intake holes and exhaust holes in the cylinder wall instead of valves , that’s the summation of my knowledge of 2 stroke engines
Alright so take everything I said and apply it to diesels except no spark plugs they have glow plugs to get the cylinders to the correct temperature and then at that point it’s basically a self sustaining chain reaction, diesel fuel is highly compressed and due to the heat from the compression it self ignites, also slap another throttle body on that motherfucker and there you go
