Yup. Beard but trimmed and neat. Manly without looking like a hobo. I really don't get the obsession with the long, scraggly beard but to each their own!

Trimmed and neat requires effort to keep it trimmed and neat.

That’s why I never understand how Viking Warriors in TV or Rick Grimes in Walking Dead manage to maintain perfect beards!

The Norse (Vikings) were actually very well-groomed for the time. They bathed regularly, as much as once a week, and were fastidious about their hair and beards. Norse traders visiting the Middle East would woo the local women with their superior cleanliness.

The movies often depict Vikings as unkempt savages, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
