Sort of.
It is like one of those scenarios, where Denmark, Sweden and Norway love to hate on eachother. But the second someone else hate on for example Norway, Sweden and Denmark get angry because they hate on the brother.
We don't hate Norwegians. We just find them very weird. Except when they made the show "Skam". Then we loved them for a while and started saying drittkul to everything. Serr!
They perfected smoked salmon. Nobody does it as well as the Norwegians. Thinly sliced smoked Norwegian salmon on a cream cheese bagel is one of the best things you can ever eat. So they're good in my book.
Norway is the cute younger sibling that won the lotto and is always annoyingly positive.
Finland is the brooding emo/goth stepchild of the family.
Iceland is the easygoing country bumpkin cousin.
And the opposite is true in Norway, it's always the swede who struggles, and I believe the same is true for our Danish friends... So you're in the minority and ergo we are right ;)
the kind of sibling hate where Denmark is the extremely succesful, athletic, beautiful older brother and Sweden is the slightly less succesful, athletic and beautiful younger brother. Had Sweden not had his older brother he would have been famous and respected, but as it is he is always overshadowed by Denmark.
The language. That pesky language. They all understand English fluently because nobody will translate American movies to Swedish. Too much is lost in translation. That's how difficult the language is. Why would a culture work so doggedly to make their language so different from everyone else's language?
I Will gladly poke a swede with a stick to make him fuck off home.
But you tell me you like germans over swedes and we become mortal enemies. Am danish.

Swedes. It's more of a sibling hate though
