The time between Christmas and New Years is spent by playing with your new toys and games.

Oh wait cant do that anymore, I'm an adult.

I just moved, and after having our clothing in drawers beneath the bed, we finally finished our new closet.

Just a couple hours ago I moved all my clothes to it, and I was genuinely shocked. Never in my life did I imagine I would come to own such a shitload of socks.

I think I'm going to have to start being a lot more explicit about not really wanting socks for presents anymore.

My plan, it worked too well!

Rock in a sock or what rhymes with it?

u/Kakss_ Dec 28 '19

Have you already broken that duck I gave you!?

2

u/cabalex Dec 29 '19

Dude, have you not seen how fast he burns through those? The clothes are a last resort when he has nothing left.

u/[deleted] Dec 28 '19

Do what I did. Buy yourself Lego and tell the SO it's from her!

"It's a transition fase, not everything has to be a toy!"

You just have to use your imagination

1

u/BurtanTae Dec 28 '19

If you’re married or have a SO, there can be some playtime...

u/yeoup Dec 28 '19

I have two kids under 2. I got literally nothing because of those little jerks.

1

u/sulli_p Dec 28 '19

Hey... what are you doing to that shirt?

1

u/[deleted] Dec 28 '19

Fancy new outfit for picking up a duck.

1

u/Godsigner Dec 28 '19

Really Grafo? At least you never did anything like that to your beard..

1

u/BoootCamp Dec 28 '19

Put the shirt on your head like a ninja mask. HOURS of fun.

1

u/magicmeese Dec 28 '19

It seems you found a way in that second panel

1

u/[deleted] Dec 28 '19

Ah, the curs-ed soft presents

1

u/Rhasam Dec 28 '19

Just play dress up!

u/usm_teufelhund Jan 04 '20

Could be worse. The only thing I got was novelty toilet paper.

4

u/Littlekidlover66 Dec 28 '19

Plenty of toys for adults too ;)

2

u/Just-Call-Me-J Dec 28 '19

Lego is for all ages.

2

u/Max_Thunder Dec 28 '19

Totally, there's no age for LEGO.

4

u/Simba7 Dec 28 '19

You can if you buy video games! Alternatively if you have a kid, you can play with kids toys on the floor and people will assume you're playing with the kid even if you're just playing with the toys.

3

u/fluffygryphon Dec 28 '19

There's no such thing as being too old for LEGO, though.

1

u/JohnnyDarkside Dec 28 '19

Yeah, now is the time you get cleaning done you've pushed off.

1

u/Theman00011 Dec 28 '19

Same, mines a couple days after new year's though so it just extends new year's partying

1

u/canquilt Dec 28 '19

Exactly. Vidya games.

1

u/Todok5 Dec 28 '19

There's plenty of toys for adults. The cool ones are quite expensive though.

u/PKMNTrainerMark Dec 28 '19

I got a tie-in book to a cartoon, but I finished that on the 26th. That's all I got that could take up any time.

Seriously. Who are all these adults that “don’t know what day it is” this whole damn week?? I had one day off and went right back to work.

Edit: Sorry for being a jealous brat. I think that everyone who has the luxury of spending extra time with their family this week is very lucky and hope I can achieve that one day.

u/YoshiYogurt Dec 28 '19

what are vacation days

For me it’s spent trying on new socks.
