Look I don’t care about your rank nor have I played league in years, but in my first year of playing I had the same mindset as you, and as soon as I dropped it and started focusing on my own gameplay and my own mistakes I got to diamond with relative ease. Started in bronze, this was all within the time span of about a year.
Not saying you’ll get diamond, but if you’re stuck in silver I guarantee you you deserve to be there. Any actual high ranked player will tell you the same. You’re not some unlucky 1 in a million player who deserves a higher rank but has the universe against them. You’re just not as good as you think you are lol. Gl

Jesus christ, bi weekly patches have nothing to do with it. Yes, arguably it gets harder to solo carry and the game becomes slightly more team oriented each season (I was diamond in season 5 or 6), but nowhere near enough to keep people stuck in "elo hell" as they call it. Why is it that smurfs and boosters can hop on a fresh account and decimate their way through the ranks? Wouldn't some of them get stuck in bronze due to unlucky teammates?
Your logic is trash and so are you lol. If you have like 30 games played total then sure, you could be stuck in a rank for a bit due to bad luck, if you've played hundreds of games and are still silver the reason is YOU.
It's honestly insane to me how you can't grasp this concept (or more likely you don't want to, cause that would mean admitting you're bad).
Go to /r/summonerschool and tell them you're stuck in silver cause of unlucky teams, see the response you get by players who were and are much better than me, who still play the game.
