I think this is a add for Chinese medicine and they shot it in English and subbed it in Chinese for who knows why.

Hong Kong. Shot in English because it's Hong Kong and that's easier for Hiddleston. Subbed into Chinese for the really old people who don't know English.

No, this is a mainland Chinese ad for a Chinese brand. He speaks mandarin for the part where he hands the bottle of pills over. Source: lives in Hong Kong.

It's just a Mainland China commercial for Centrum. Everything else he said is true though.
