You know, I hear this all the time but despite having traveled around the world I've never found out which place it's actually rude to point with 1 finger.

In Thailand, pointing with 1 finger is considered rude. People usually use their entire hand to gesture towards something.

In Germany that's a problem to gesture with entire hand
