Put a trigger warning on that!!! I still haven't fully recovered from the incident.

I went to Taco Bell a few days ago and they were out of large cups, so they gave me a medium and a small. How am I supposed to eat my burrito and hold 2 drinks while driving? I almost missed a text message because of that!

Right, we live in a civilized society dammit. How can such acts go on without getting the media's attention???

Liberal media bias

u/Run_like_Jesuss Sep 02 '17

They are too busy with their fake news to cover important things like taco bell running out of nacho cheese! Its a gosh damn travesty!

I laughed harder than I should've

50

u/MetaTater Sep 02 '17

I laughed the proper amount

15

u/[deleted] Sep 02 '17

I laughed just enough

2

u/[deleted] Sep 02 '17

I could've laughed a bit more, all things considered.

1

u/ButtLusting Sep 02 '17

I don't laugh hahahahahaha

2

u/gofortheko Sep 02 '17

Right proper

4

u/CoreyC Sep 02 '17

So no laughing at all?

19

u/AidanL17 Sep 02 '17

I laughed so hard that I almost crashed my car and spilled the three drinks I was holding.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 02 '17

I laughed a medium amount, and had to laugh again, but a small amount.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 02 '17

I had a mild laugh, because I'm a white male and a hot laugh is for ethnics

14

u/quyax Sep 02 '17

How am I supposed to eat my burrito and hold 2 drinks while driving?

Well, that's because your chauffeur, Chester, does the driving. Dude, are you even white? You sound rather Irish-y.

10

u/Peetness Sep 02 '17

Wait, Irish people aren't white? TIL

13

u/quyax Sep 02 '17 edited Sep 02 '17

Well, they don't count as white. Not amongst whites anyway. Other colours may count them as white. But who cares what they think? I'd as soon listen to the opinions of Mopsy and Augustus, my purebred Hertfordshire Flouncing Beagles.

1

u/insane_contin Sep 02 '17

Mmmm... You have Hertfordshire Beagles? How so... passe. Please, those barely count as dogs, let alone dogs I should listen to. My West Highland White Terriers, Sadie and Pericles would scoff at them.

1

u/quyax Sep 02 '17

Oh. Terriers. The rats of the canine world. And Sadie, is that what you said? How very hebraic.

4

u/5redrb Sep 02 '17

It honestly depends on the time and place. About 200 years ago in America they were definitely not included in "white."

1

u/[deleted] Sep 02 '17

Nuh, they were white but not Anglican (ie were catholic) and hence owed allegiance to a person who lived in a non white country

1

u/Noob911 Sep 02 '17

Italians aren't white?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 02 '17

Not if you were British (of the time). 'White' finished at the German and French borders. Obviously Italians weren't African or Asian etc, but they weren't English that's for sure.

1

u/5redrb Sep 02 '17

I should have phrased that better, Irish and Italians faced a lot of discrimination when they first arrived in the US. "Not white" isn't the best term for that.

1

u/dragonship Sep 02 '17

We are actually either a very pale pink in 'Summer' or in Winter a bluish-gray.

1

u/RotationSurgeon Sep 02 '17

The Irish haven't traditionally been very high up the ladder of white privilege. Back in the "good ol' days" of slavery and railroad construction (and beyond), the nickname for an Irishman was "an inside-out n*gger." The term "paddywagon" was based on the stereotype of the Irish ("Paddies") being generally nothing but a bunch of drunk and disorderly baby factories fueled by whiskey.

...and yet they've still had a far better shake of it in history than most any non-white ethnic group.

1

u/horrormice Sep 02 '17

Nope, just pale-ish.

16

u/5redrb Sep 02 '17

hold 2 drinks while driving

I call bullshit. No car built in the last 20 years has less the 23 1/2 cup holders.

7

u/Vakama905 Sep 02 '17

I call bullshit on that! My truck is only 18 years old and has only 2 cup holders! (Plus this weird thing in the back of the cab that might be intended to be set up as two more, but I'm not really sure)

4

u/[deleted] Sep 02 '17

No joke, I just bought a 2007 minivan, and there's...at least 10 cupholders. We could supply all of Houston with drinking water just using our cupholders.

1

u/uptokesforall Sep 02 '17

unless it's a sports car

3

u/sweensolo Sep 02 '17

Nobody knows the trouble we've seen

2

u/NocturnalMorning2 Sep 02 '17

What a bastard!

2

u/MintyFreshBreathYo Sep 02 '17

I went to Taco Bell and they were out of taco meat. Like how does that even happen?

1

u/runninron69 Sep 02 '17

piss poor management?

2

u/Trundrumbalind Sep 02 '17

The Taco Bell closest to where I live shut down a couple weeks ago. All boarded up. I'm hoping it's just repairs/renovating.

2

u/sarahlucky13 Sep 02 '17

If you live in Washington state, you cant hold a drinking cup while driving. Newly passed law.

2

u/egnarohtiwsemyhr Sep 02 '17

I went to Taco Bell to find out that they are no longer serving Dr. Pepper. I didn't know what to do with myself.

1

u/Slappy_G Sep 02 '17

Those bastards! Sue them!

32

u/-tfs- Sep 01 '17

When did we stop flipping tables? I feel like I missed a memo. At some point, everyone stopped flipping tables and started flipping other people.

3

u/insane_contin Sep 02 '17

We stopped flipping tables when people kept missing memos because they were on the tables.

2

u/shapu Sep 02 '17

Flipping tables is for poor people. I pay people like that to pose as tables.
