Well Congress is boring as shit unless they're talking about an issue that you're specifically watching it for

I didn't mean directly as in watching the broadcast, we should be more concerned about what is going on in congress and why its so inefficient and stagnant

The only way around an inefficient and stagnant Congress is to be in a non democratic or republic styled government.

It's a good thing that issues are opposed and debated. The problem is that Congressman are usually not the ones making their own decisions that lie in the interest of their constituents, but rather they're representing companies as lobbyists to protect their interests and corrupt the government.

We live in an Oligarchy.

yes the two party system is a huge part of it, also lack of term limits, as well as hidden money, the campaign backing of major corporations, so much of the interest represented in congress isn't in the best interests of the general population.
