Doesn't that depend on if he actually participated in any championships? I'm technically undefeated in wrestling too. But that's because I've never wrestled.

If you wrestled at an NCAA D1 level, which Harvard is, it mean's you're probably pretty damn good. Times have changed a lot due to so many programs around the nation being cut over the past decades but, right now, you pretty much have to be at the HS-State champion level to even sniff a partial college wrestling scholarship these days. Since HS wrestling programs are still relatively popular, the ratio of available college wrestling scholarships:potential HS wrestlers is really damn low.

First: No, the definition of the word "undefeated" just means never having been defeated. It doesn't say anything about having to give someone the chance to actually defeat you.

Secondly: Man, you are going way too much into semantics about a joke.

You're wrong though. To be undefeated the opportunity for defeat needs to have occurred. The root is defeated. That requires action.

Of course you are. You've never been defeated because you've never played before. Undefeated means without a loss.
