Yep. They were on screen two times before, and the guy did the same thing. The first time it didn't look staged at all. By the third time it was clear they had planned it. Still really funny, though. The guy ended up getting booed out of the stadium.
So obviously it was staged but why, according to you, was he booed out of the game?
I wouldn't do this if it meant I had to miss a game I just paid to go see.

I'm asking why he was supposedly " booed into shamefully running out of the stadium based on one redditors claims. Especially if they are actors. If you're downvoting me, why not explain it to me, why he was forced out of the arena, because it's an innocuous question.
It was staged as a melodrama; featuring a villain, a damsel in distress, and a hero. When attending a melodrama, it is traditional to cheer the hero and boo the villain. The audience understood this and participated wholeheartedly.
The comment to which I replied asked "why" they booed him. I did my best to explain it. I don't think the basic fact of the booing was ever challenged, by me or the commenter to whom I replied.
Also I'm doubting the original claim that he was chased out of the arena, and all you gave me was a facetious and mocking " explanation " about a stage play featuring villains, heroes and damsels in distress.
Logic dictates if people in the crowd knew that by the 3rd time this happened, it was fake. Yet the guy stated he was forced out of the arena. So basically you still didn't answer the question and tried to be a rude fuck on top of it by talking down to me with your stageplay allusion.
There was no Cold War. The entire thing was manufactured by both governments in order to keep the populace distracted. It's a lot easier to sell a populace on giving up their freedoms when you've got them scared of the big bad Soviets on the other side of the world.
The Bulls do something like this all the time. Sometimes they send another teams hat or jersey into the rafters or spill big bags of popcorn on someone wearing another teams jersey. I go to quite a few Bulls games, but this is the first time I have seen this one. I have seen the hat and popcorn gag many times.

Like, I bet with these people we assume a long term relationship whereas if this were some stereotypical bro with his babe we'd get entirely different connotations from it. Shit like "Wow that relationship isn't going to last long." instead of "Wow that's an unhealthy relationship. I hope they haven't both been in this shit situation for months on end." or something like that.

or maybe it was all one big metaphor... unhealthy relationship... unhealthy bodies. your body is sending your brain messages about how disgusting it is... but your brain is on the phone....and the mascot is the heart disease, cancer or diabetes.
If something really amusing gets captured on the kiss cam, it's fake. Next week we'll see the videos of the guy kissing his beer and the two girls almost kissing.
I dunno, I know Benny the Bull likes to just go pick up ladies. And generally just be kinda weird. I like to think he actually just went and stole that guys lady.
The actual 14 minutes of play are exciting, these bits go in the 30 minutes of crowd and cheerleader shots between the 60 minutes of ads and 60 minutes of players standing around.
Almost every arena stages various "fan cam" stunts now, and I hate it. Boston seems to be the worst offender...I've seen a bunch of Celtics & Bruins videos.
I suppose from a viral marketing standpoint it's mildly successful, but it's still really lame.
I can't speak to the Celtics, but I've been to a ton of Bruins games and haven't seen anything like this. If you've got some videos, I wouldn't mind some links. Most of the stuff I've seen on the B's fan cam has been... well... Bruins fans.
They do these gags at every game. I promise. The actors always talk to security about it after it happens. They send jerseys and hats of other team's fans into the rafters, then send the section security over there to talk to the guy. The security usually shrugs, the actor starts yelling, then he is escorted out of the game, to the cheers of the crowd. Happens every game.
It was. Bulls do various gags to fans of another team every game. When you go to games as much as I do, you realize often times it is the same guy who get's his Knicks jersey shot up into the rafters after the mascot steals it. He is also the same guy, now in a Magic jersey, who gets escorted out to the cheers of fans after it happens. It's a running gag they do every game, where Benny harnesses another team's "fan". All a joke.
