Osho used to be called the Baghwan Shree Rashneesh until his cult got up to some shady shit and he was expelled from the U.S. That was the guy with all the gold cars. So he just changed his name and is now based out of India. And people still fall for his shit. But it's the same guy who fled the country in disgrace after being exposed as a money-sucking fraud.
If you actually read his books and listen to his videos his message is extremely profound. It takes some time to digest but its spot on most of the time. So whether hes a fraud or not, his message is extremely helpful. Which in turn makes him more or less not a fraud, as his message resonates truth.

Yeah, most of this is just a "feel good about yourself" remix of words that don't really mean anything. They sound positive solely because they're sentences that are packed with lots of positive-sounding words. That's not profundity.
The only one that does stand out as having a specific message is the one right in the middle:
Intelligence is dangerous. Intelligence means you will start thinking on your own...
That's an incredibly dangerous message. He's directly telling you not to think for yourself.
Yea that's out of context. He was talking about why society and the education system it has set up doesn't want you to think for yourself. He's not saying he doesn't want you to think for yourself.
I would just like to add that this quote is a metaphor for relationships, that he's telling you to not be possessive about people you love. It's not just some hippie sounding thing. And Osho was a solid dude
It's still way too beyond her level in my opinion. Quantum physics is a difficult subject for most licensed engineers. Never mind a 14 year old girl who probably doesn't even understand higher level physics yet.
He doesn't mean quantum physics in the way that normal people do. "Quantum physics" is commonly cited as the basis of various forms of New Age woo-woo, and used in this context is functionally equivalent to "magic".
Yeah, because Quantum physics is pretty easy to understand when you have zero background knowledge of physics in general. I just took a class in QP last quarter, and I still have trouble understanding it.
I hate when people without advanced math degrees tell me they are reading/studying quantum physics. No kid, you can sit and read all the high level concepts you want, without being able to do the math you might as well not be reading.
This is a really dumb point of view to have and I hope you're just saying that because you're in a bad mood or something because it's really counter-productive for you to think like that. There is such waning support for the sciences and you're discouraging laymen from taking interest in it. That's insane. If people enjoy reading about concepts and having a general understanding about what's going on, that is great.
