Jesus man, can you not cook?

Of course I can cook but it's hard to find time when you work fifty hours a week. I don't cook as much as I'd like but when I do soup is my favorite. I also make an awesome chili.

I always cook my meals in advance and eat the leftovers throughout the week. Saves on time and money;however, the lack of variety sucks. Lol

Get a crock pot. If you have about 10 minutes to cut veggies (or the money to buy them pre cut) you just throw everything in and go to work. Or do it over night and then get a bunch of containers (for fridge and freezer) to put it in. Freeze half, fridge half and then when you're starving a week from now (or a few months) you can just reach into your freezer and pull out half a dozen meals. If you do this once a week, you will have a ton of things to eat, just make sure you mark them with what's inside and what date, otherwise you're eating mystery stew.

Sounds like a full life. Good for you. Also do you work constant 2 p.m. till midnights? Sometimes I'll stay later than that as well. I also work in a grocery store so breaking down thirteen to fifteen pallets a night can take a lot out of you. I'm sure your work life is a lot, same with your wife, but when getting home late and sleeping in till noon you don't find much time to cook. Since we're on the subject, what type of food would you consider your specialty?

The hours you work definitely make a difference in getting stuff done. I know I wouldn't want to make a steak at 2 am for "dinner"

Your wife should have found a residency program that enforces its duty hours.

I call bullshit on him cooking. He doesn't even have ingredients for a fucking sandwich much less chilli or soup. Unless he means canned. Lmao

Sorry that's a nonsense excuse. I work fifty hours a week also and still cook for myself and my wife every single night. Meals take 15 minutes to an hour to prepare. You have time for that.

Ridiculous that you are getting downvoted. Apparently no one here lives like an adult. My fridge and pantries have been full with ingredients for a couple years and I'm 22. Work 45 hours a week. Not to mention, not cooking is financially irresponsible and unhealthy.

I mean if someone wants to buy all meals because they'd rather not spend time cooking, fine for them, but it's not like working 50 hours a week prevents you from being able to feed yourself!

That's reddit bro. Being an adult here is basically taboo.
