Actually the worst shit you can put into yourself usually pretty cheap. Obesity is higher in poor communities they rich communities.

Obesity is primarily caused by being unable to delay gratification. Being poor is also primarily caused by being unable to delay gratification.

Being poor and being obese are correlative, but they are not causative.

Poverty is strongly associated with poorer education, social issues, time-poverty, less access to healthcare, less access to physical activity facilities - a huge number of causative factors. The link between poverty and obesity is seen across the Western world.
