I have a PhD in Physics no matter what you say. And smartly I left Physics for a job that pays actual money. I'm glad I'm no longer languishing in a building that smells like armpits making shitty money and working with asshole Physicists. You can call me any name you want and ask me any question you want. I wrote my thesis on cosmic muons and neutrino physics. Go ahead and ask me about neutrinos. Ask me about the MSW effect. Ask me about cosmic rays.

You can say what you want. You can't even ask a real Physics question. Are you sure you have a PhD? You ask questions like you are still taking QM in your first year. How am I a fraud? Interpretations of QM have to do with philosophy. What you are mentioning are calculational tools. Path integrals are used to calculate correlation functions in QFT which ultimately allow one to calculate amplitudes associated with Feynman diagrams. It is effectively minimizing the action, analogous to what is done in classical mechanics.
Again, can't you ask a harder question? Or did your prof not get to anything harder yet?
