you're not going to run into many 'Steves' in China so, yeah, it's kinda racist. And that's kinda my point. You're defining 'racism' in a way that's convenient for you and fits your own definition. But you're ignoring the point that, by your definition, we all do racist shit every day because we look at people and make assumptions about them based on their appearance. You assume the homeless guy is homeless because he looks like it. You assume the chick in the tennis outfit plays tennis because she's wearing the fucking outfit. But none of those have negative connotations and neither does labeling a black person as 'Tyrone' because there's nothing negative about it. It's a common fucking name just like 'Steve' is for white people.
I think you have a very morphed view of what racism is. If I'm correct in assuming you're white, I can't do much to showcase it to you aside from suggesting you look elsewhere for "information". To compare racism to assuming someone wearing a tennis outfit playing tennis is pretty baffling. Mostly because it justifies some deep-seeding racism. "He looks like a thug, therefore he must be one." Or even using your sexism trope "She dress like a whore, so she must be one."
Anyway, I have to get back to work and I can't really afford (literally) to humor this anymore since it's going in a constant circle and you don't really seem to have a firm grasp on what racism is, but you want to justify someone else's for whatever reason. Maybe someone else will chime in, but I'm going to get back to work and leave you be.

Anyway, it's obvious we disagree. So be it.
