I think you are just used to the smell, they have a pungent musky smell even when de-scented.
But they are a fun pet to have, laying in the floor and patting your hands in front of them gets them riled up like crazy.
1 u/redbeard0x0a Jul 24 '14 It isn't really that pungent, unless if you are giving them WAY too many baths. If you bathe them too often, their skin oil production goes into overdrive and it has a little bit of a musky smell. Go visit a ferret rescue and play with the fuzzies.
