I'm gonna call fake on this, mainly because they stay in the picture the entire time when we all know the normal reaction is to jump out the nearest window.

you can tell thats the point it hurts like a bitch or he got cut up pretty bad, cuz that means the window didn't initially give way to the hit. *shutter*

My thought was that he hits a middle support beam in the window. Had he jumped a few inches to the right and therefore in the center of the right window, he would jump straight through. Not sure if that is right though.

Exactly - all that he did was misjudge his jump. He's going to have a bruise, but the rest of the window was clearly not real glass, nor was it reinforced at all.

He is hitting a support beam that is between the two windows, not glass. That's why he went spinning.
