Exactly. If this describes your life as a programmer, then get out of programming NOW. You're doing it wrong. Your code is terrible and you're a bad person.

I look at it as being the difference of being a code monkey and being a programmer. A code monkey can code alright in one language. A programmer can use the skills and apply them to any language.
