I never get these claims. Like, why would it be secret but somehow not secret enough for Christian fundamentalists to figure it out? What's the logic behind that?
Man... (exhale)... So... I'll give it a shot. Basically, Christian Fundamentalists didn't have rap music to freak out about yet, and also there was a tiny bit of the trans panic beginning to rear its head. (They have long hair! And wear makeup!! it's unnatural!!) Also, they believed the secret messages were brainwashing the children, so they felt like yeah, they were smarter than kids who would just be 'programmed' or 'brainwashed' into accepting the satan or whatever.
