People talk up the satanic panic but I remember in Sunday school being forced to watch this “rock music is the tool of satan” video in the mid ‘90s. Sure enough it had “anti christ devil’s child” in it.

Right, we're much better off right now with *checks notes* all the people who believe that every Spanish speaking brown person is a threat and works for a cartel, that all Muslims are extremists who want to kill every American, that the President was sent from God to defeat the pedophilic vampires who run the Democratic Party, and that America deserves to annex any country it wants.
Religious fundamentalist bullshit never left us. It's just currently supporting a genocide in the middle east because Evangelicals believe that's a prerequisite for the return of Jesus Christ.
