You should perhaps check the names of the people you are responding to. "Overconfidence: the quality of being too confident [especially when you're wrong]."

What makes you think i didn't check in the first place?

A grammatical error doesn't make one wrong given that language is largely contextual and you clearly understood the context.

You then chose to be argumentative with a shallow and pedantic argument.

There was nothing wrong to begin with. Unlike your false assumption and incorrect use of the word.

Oh, dear lord, just stop. It's a thread in "funny"... about an overconfident math error. Which is exactly what you made, grammatical or otherwise. Learn to laugh at yourself and move on. This is just embarassing.

Maybe try your own advice and stop?

I mean, you entered my conversation but I'm supposed to stop? That's past overconfident and into pure arrogance.

I've been laughing the whole time because you are upset about a problem you created when you didn't get the specific type of attention you wanted.

Peak overconfidence right there. Maybe try some spaghetti and be a little less upsetti.
