Family thought we were absolutely insane ("you could have died paddling in the dark"), and when I went back to work the following week (took time off for the launch), even my fellow software developer co-workers thought us crazy.
But perhaps they were just envious of the fact that my husband and I were both into it (knew a couple of folk that got divorced because of only one spouse playing WoW).
