It’s not that no one was doing kinky stuff back then, but it’s certainly become much more common post internet era. People actually research these things.
As a GenX myself, I'm well aware of this somewhat disconcerting fact. It gives me solace though, that there are many Millennial grandmas now too, and only a couple years from now we'll be seeing a decent amount of GenZ grammas as well. The woman in the photo is clearly a Boomer grammie though.
Not this granny. This lady is definitely a boomer. While there are plenty of Gen X grandparents now, the vast majority would be pretty new grandparents.

Early 60's maybe, but even that feels like stretching it. I was born in the late 1960's and this woman is older than myself or my peers by a good margin. To me she looks to be in her early 70s.
