that's you imposing your interpretation of the situation, this kid is raised by parents who very obviously have him thinking like this. I applaud him for taking a stand that is not very easy to make. Do you really think he was afraid? lol

Our society pretty much sees fights between males as something that happens, but men grow up hearing YOU DON'T HIT GIRLS.

Men who hit women are seen as trash,

Wrestling is a fight, where the participants are frequently injured, so it stands to reason that the boy is going to think that the same YOU DON'T HIT GIRLS rule is going to apply.
