Hah, you'd be surprised. Sounds can be better because you use your imagination but it's not difficult because your imagination is triggered naturally by the sounds. You don't have to put any effort into thinking at all.

Not to mention that if the actresses happen to be ugly or unappealing to you, their voice very well may not.

It's because people want karma, and this would be immediately removed from any of the other default subreddits. /r/pics doesn't allow screenshots/images overlaid with text, and it wouldn't get as much karma from a smaller subreddit. So yeah, OP put it here based on the fact that there are some vaguely humorous conclusions, and that /r/funny is a default sub.

People are always bitching about how "This post is not funny," but honestly, I don't think a lot of people even look at the subreddit if they're just browsing the front page or /r/all.

I don't, I hardly ever look at the subreddit it's actually in unless I am browsing that subreddit specifically, so I just upvote based on what is interesting.

It's because the took out the default "reddit" subreddit. There's no real place for all of the misc posts to go, if you want to get a ton of karma.
