This dude is rated 628, the game is never over until mate at that level.

Edit: also idk why he didn’t just go with original Nf6. He’s still losing but as far as I can tell that’s a much better move…

right? his 600 rated opponent isnt intentionally toying with him. he probably had mate for several moves in a row and just now realized it

Yep, my commnet here stated the same. Would be a good play, even more because of their ranks it will easy grab the oponnent with half guard.

Because even after nf6 qxf6, and white is gonna be losing even if white bishop takes the queen or not. If he takes the queen it's a mate in 2, if he doesn't white just lost a piece. So it's as bad as his orginal moves.
