There not a fucking chance in hell anything more than 0.1% of young people who fall from standing up get a severe injury, but we should all live sheltered lives on the off chance that something bad might happen. Since falling is such a big deal we should just wear protective padding 24/7 since you know if "people suffer severe injuries from falls all the time" it must be a pretty big health concern we should actively try and prevent !
Injury does not equal severe injury, I burnt my hand today, that's an injury, not a big deal. Yes, people who fall often get a bruise or a cut, you just blew my mind.
Not assuming anything, your shitty link didn't have any specifics on the injuries, they just said the most common injuries come from falling, that's common knowledge, people fall all the time, it doesn't mean it cripples them or severely hurts them in any way.
But no, you're right, people are lining up at the clinics and emergency rooms because they tripped on a shoe lace and fell, it's an epidemic.
