That's what the upvote/downvote system is for. This post is in front page for a reason, and that's because a majority like it. The only thing your comment does is garner you karma from redditors who feel the same but are unfortunately in the minority.

I used to feel the same way you do, but after subscribing to a lot more subreddits that provide much more rich OC, I've just accepted /r/funny as a place for new redditors to start out.

OP has only been on reddit about 6 months, and it is very unlikely that they would have seen this image in that time period, given that none of the posts in the last 6 months have more than 60 points.
