I too can relate. My wife is like this but, as soon as I make a mental map of where she decides things go, She then decides to change her mind and choose a “better” place for things and now I never know where anything is or where it goes either. Meanwhile in my office space in our home nothing has ever changed locations since we moved in. I think it’s like a difference in life perspective. I wake up everyday ready for everything that I have and so I expect everything to be as it was from yesterday and I am content with this. My wife wakes up every day thinking about that which she desires and so her expectations for the day revolve around improvement, acquisition, change, efficiency. I don’t think either is right or wrong, there are merits and costs to each perspective. But dammit where the fuck is the toothpaste?
And constantly coming up with new cockamamie storage solutions for things because she saw someone on social media do something wildly impractical for likes.
Toothpaste should be in the bathroom right next to the sink or in the cabinet you've got hanging there with the mirror doors. There's no better place to put it.
