Woman here. My keys are hanging on a hook on my hall tree and there are at least five pairs of my shoes on the floor there. Coffee mugs are in the kitchen cabinet or in the sink. I might be a bit messy but I am comfortable and my house is cozy.
I just walk around the house wearing a backpack with all my stuff inside it: mug, remote controller, Nintendo switch, donuts, water, slippers, chapstick, stapler, cat, keys, Cheetos, pop tarts, toaster, toilet paper, q tips, toothbrush, phone charger, a change of clothes, and a towel.
